| Gerry Glynn retired from Plaquemine Bank and Trust Company with 44 years of service. She was with the Bank on its opening Day. Ginger Laurent, Chief Operating Officer of Louisiana Bankers Association was on hand to present a plaque. Also retiring on December 16, 2011 was Patsy Doiron, who retired with 11 years of service. IPS2012 The Irene W. Pennington Planetarium is currently undergoing renovations including additional seating,
environment improvements and projection upgrades. In addition to serving Baton Rouge, these updates
will be showcased in July 2012 during the International Planetarium Society Conference. A special showing
of three projection systems was shown this week. (Guests in this photograph by David Kors are viewing 3D/4k.)
